I was able to get these two beauties to bank on Sunday.

LOTAC TOURNAMENT!

I participated in the LOTAC Catch n Clean steelhead tournament this weekend. MY fish got second place in the size category at 32". The winner was barely over 32".

Action is ok but slowing down

The Staircase appears to be slowing down. Most of the fish have moved upriver.

Mixed Bag Weekend

Dad and I had a great weekend hitting Chinooks, Cohos, Steelhead, and some spectacular Brown Trout.

Sunday was stupid easy.

The fish were in force and very willing. I even had the pleasure of watching a big male king annihilate my skein. We ended up landing 14 after hooking upwards of thirty. I even got two cohos.

Good Weekend. Kings and Chrome.

An excellent day on top of the staircase.

We ended up landing 9 total including my biggest male of the season and Dad ended up landing 3 cohos.

I caught the Males above towards dark on our first night out to Michigan. They both hit K-9 Kwikfish plugs.

A productive weekend.

Salmon fishing is heating up on the Salmon River. Some good rain brought a lot of fresh chrome into the river, and the fish are getting bigger. One hen I landed weighed around thirty pounds and was 42 inches long.
